- Dr. Gillespie is Scots-Irish from a music and story telling background in Northern Ireland. He came to this country in 1972 to follow his dreams, and that’s what he’s still doing in his teaching and practice, helping others to follow theirs.

- Made the first audio tape for heart surgery for the Cardiac Complementary Care Center under Mehmet Oz at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital NYC.
- Is former Director of Behavioral Medicine at The Hapworth Centers Integrative Medical-Psychiatric Care, NYC
- He holds a B.Sc. (Honours) Degree in Psychology from Queen University Belfast, and a Ph.D. in Psychobiology from SUNY Stonybrook and has over twenty-five years experience in the Personal Development field Teaching and Speaking internationally.
